We’ve been fans of Jason Plummer for years. When we first heard him opening for an area event and concert, we talked about how this guy needed to be known all over the country and be marketed.
But, you know, everyone gets busy and what we knew just sort of went by the wayside.
Recently, I learned that Jason hadn’t been going by the wayside at all. He has been busy writing and recording since that first album we picked up in 2009 — Green Broke. In 2011, he released a second album entitled The Cowboy Way.
And gotten himself a fine website to help establish his internet presence. You can find more about Jason at http://jasonplummercountry.com including slideshows from concerts, videos and connections to iTunes where you can purchase downloads of his recordings. Players are set up so you can listen to the songs before you decide. Jason Plummer on Facebook
Not content to stay in a level presentation, Jason Plummer has formed his own recording label, 80 Proof Music which is active in marketing his talent nationally as well as the talent of other up and coming music artists.
The mystique is based in the country roots that keep Jason active in ranching and hunting around his home area. During deer hunting season, don’t be surprised to find this avid hunter ‘out of pocket’ for most of the season. That’s alright — there’s plenty of time during the rest of the year.
Upcoming performances for Jason and group include opening for Chase Rice at a Springfield, MO rodeo and in a guest appearance at Coblestone Entertainment in West Plains with popular Josh Thompson. Following that Jason will be in Spencer, Iowa at the Clay County Events Center. Northwestern Iowa, get ready for some REAL country.
